What to bring for the festival?

This post will be like a tip for the festivals. I will show there things that you should take for the festivals and that might be helpful for you.

SUNGLASSES- The most important thing when it is really hot and sunny!

I really recommend to take two pairs because when it is a lot of people so something can happen with the first pair (you can lost it or it can be destroy). Last year at the Jazz Festival in Copenhagen my glasses were laying on the ground a long time and when found them they were scratched and crooked.

CAP- Next thing when its really hot and your head cannot handle the sunlight.

Moreover, it can help you when your hair will get really bad so then you can just hide them by the cap.

WET WIPES/ANTIBACTERICAL GEL- It really helps when it is hot and you can get some freshness on your skin.

PLASTIC RAINCOAT- It might be also raining instead of great sunshine. 

Anyway, if it will not rain so you should buy and take the plastic raincoat because you never know what will happen. It is a really good thing to not to get wet. Also, take the plastic bag to hide your bag or backpack inside it while it is raining. Moreover, small umbrella can help too but you are allowed only to take this small folding umbrella. 

POWERBANK- I think everyone knows that they need it when you will not be able to charge your phone a long time and you will use it a long time.

However,  it is better two take two or more if your powerbank has 2600 mAh.

Orange Warsaw Festival 2016

In the begging of June I have been to the Orange Warsaw Festival in Warsaw, Poland. The festival held on June 3-4 near the city center. I was just on the first day of the festival. On the first performed artists like Lana Del Rey, Skunk Anansie and the amazing band Die Antwoord. On the second day perfumed artists like Tom Oddel, MØ, Editors and also an incredible Skrillex. Below is the pic of the line-up.

There were two stages Orange Stage (the big one) and the Warsaw Stage (in the tent). I was only at performances on the Orange Stage because I was waiting for Lana Del Rey so I could not go anywhere  due not lose the place. But it was cool be there and wait for her with amazing people. The first perfumer was Marcelina. She is a polish singer. She began at 3:30 pm and her performance was quite good warm up for all. 

After her the Skunk Anansie at 7 pm. She was absolutely incredible and energetic. I have never seen performance like her in my life. She have just announced four new concert dates for Poland so I am pretty sure that I will go and see her again! Here are some pics of her performance.

The next artist for who people have been waiting the most was Lana Del Rey! She begun at 9:30 pm. She was fantastic. It was her first show at the summer tour but also the first in Europe since her last summer tour here in 2014. It was the second time that I saw her. The last time was at Paradise Tour in Warsaw too in June 2013. It was actually cool to see the concert that you have not seen before. That you have not known the setlist and how the stage will look like. However, the stage looked incredible and mysterious. The show took 90 mins. She had performed 15 songs like "West Coast", "Honeymoon", "Lolita", "Serial Killer" or "Ride". The separate post of Lana´s performance you can read here.

 After Lana at 11 pm the wondrous Die Antwoord came on stage! The were incredible. The show, lighst, music, atmosphere were so impressive. You can see it in my video from the festival. They have sung songs like "Ugly Boy", "Cookie Tramper!", or "I Fink U Freeky". Check out the whole setlist here.

Lana Del Rey at Orange Warsaw Festival 2016

On June 2nd I was at the Orange Warsaw Festival. The main headliner was Lana Del Rey. It was her first show at her summer tour and the first concert in Europe since 2014. The show begun at 9:30 pm and ended at 11 pm. Lana was incredible! The stage looked amazing. The neon sing Del Rey was a great idea and made a fantastic atmosphere. Lana have also came down to take some pictures with fans and sign the albums. The show begun with "Cruel World" and ended with "Off to the Races". Lana sang totally 15 songs. She also included songs like "Serial Killer", "Freak" or "Lolita". Anyway, she did not sing "Summertime Sadness" so I was a little confused about this. Diva´s Show! Mariah Carey and her great come back to Europe! The Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour in Krakow

On Monday (11.04.2016) I have been to Mariah Carey´s concert in Krakow, which is a part of her "The Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour". In November I have been thinking about when Mariah will come back to Europe? I really wanted to see her live and hear songs from my childhood. A few weeks later she immediately announced her european tour. So I bought the ticket at the day of sale. It was a few days before Christmas. It was her come back to Europe. Last time she was in here 13 years ago. Moreover, it was her first visit in Poland. I was so excited to see her but what about fans that waited for her even 20 years? They had to super-excited! 

Many people certainly were curious about her voice and whistle notes. So was I. The videos showing that her voice is not like before are truly fake. She sounds really different live than on videos on YouTube or even after recorded video on my phone. In the interview she said that on the tour she will included songs that she has not performed so much times and are less known for people. She did it! She sang her hits like "Hero", "Emotions" or "Without You" but the surprising songs were "When You Believe", "Against All Odds" and "Obsessed". She has sung 18 songs totally. The show began at 21:15 and ended at 22:50. The tickets for the area in front of stage were sold out in a few seconds! I get a chance to buy a ticket in the 18 row. The view was fantastic but sometimes it was hard to take some pics because of strong stage light that was used on Mariah.

The show started with Mariah entering on the stage on a gold bed, holding by dancers and singing "Fantasy". Then Mariah sang songs like "Emotions" and "My All", "Always Be My Baby" and "I´ll Be There" with Trey Lorenz.

The second act was something that was just a medley. The medley was really fast. She sang mostly her dance songs from last years like "Touch My Body" with a fan on stage, "I Know What You Want", "Obsessed", "It´s Like That", "Shake It Off", "Loverboy" and "Heartbreaker".

The next act was something that I and certainly the whole arena was waiting for! Her hit ballads. Mariah opened the act with "Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)" and after this Trey Lorenz joined again to Mariah and sung with her "One Sweet Day" and then she performed a beautiful ballad "When You Believe" with Whitney Houston on screens. This was something fantastic. The feeling was like Whitney was present at the concert. Afterwards she performed "Hero". The performance to this song was truly amazing! Then she sang "We Belong Together ". The show has ended with "Without You".

There were some songs that I missed and I was so sad that she did not included them in the setlist. The songs that I missed are "Vision of Love", "Dreamlover", and "Love Takes Time". But the show was absolutely great so I just hope to see here performing "Vision of Love" someday.

Merchedise

After the show I went back of the arena and I have waited to see Mariah after the show. I have waited so long! Mariah came out from the arena at 0:40. She only waved to the people that were waiting for her but she did not stop to take some pictures with fans or to sign albums. Below I recorded a video of Mariah going outside the arena :)

We do not know actually when she will be back in Europe again so I really recommend to go to Mariah´s show if she will perform in your country soon!

Tips for the Concerts

After many concerts that I have been I decided to make a post with some tips for the concert for you.
I made a list with the most important tips&tricks for the concert that can be helpful for you and your friends. 

Tips for concert:

Waiting time:
- if you want to stay in the first row, come to the arena like 11/12 am 
- always bring something that you can sit on the ground (mat or blanket) if you will forget it so you can use a plastic bag
- if the temperature is under 20°C (68°F)  you should bring some blanket (you must do it if you will not wear a jacket)
- to reduce the time, remember to bring something to play with your friends, if you're alone you can bring some study papers 
- the weather at the day of the concert can be really crazy, so if it will be raining and you do not want to bring umbrella, just buy some plastic raincoats

Food tips: 
- if you will wait very long outside the arena, you should bring some sandwiches, a small dinner (if there is no any market, restaurant or shopping mall nearby), and some sweets that will help you to reduce the hunger
- I always take only one small bottle of water. Why? Because when I have just a small bottle of water so it does not make me thirsty much and to drink it 
- always bring some chewing gum that can help you if you will be thirsty inside the arena and if you were not allowed to go in with a drink

Show tips:
- you should not really care about other people if you want to get the places that you really want. Especially, if you are not so tall, other people do not care much about the others
- if you want to go somewhere outside the standing or seating area (toilet or merchandise shop), you should take a ticket with you because the guards will like to see the ticket when you will go back to the area of concert
- if you do not need a bag to the concert so do not bring! It will reduce the time of control in the entrance to the arena, so you will luckier to get you dream place
