Five Busiest Airport in the World

Hello!
Today I decide to show you something that can be a curiosity- the five busiest airports in the world.

1. Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport


The Atlanta Airport is the busiest airport in the world since 1998. It is located only 11 km from Atlanta. The airport has 7 terminals and 5 runways. The total number of passengers in 2014 was 96,178,899 and there were 868,359 aircraft operations. 

2. Beijing Capital International Airport 

The international airport in Beijing is located in Chaoyang-Shunyi, 32 km from the Beijing city center. The airport has 3 terminals and 2 runways. The number of passengers in 2014 was  86,130,390. Also, the number of aircraft operations was 581,773.

3. London Heatrow Airport
Heatrow Airport  is a major international airport in west London, England. Heathrow is the busiest airport in the United Kingdom, busiest airport in Europe by passenger traffic. The airport has 5 terminals and 2 runways. The number of passengers in 2014 was 73,405,330 and there were 472,702 aircraft movements. 


4.  Tokyo Haneda Airport
Handeda Airport is one of the two main airports in Tokyo area. It has 2 terminals and one "International Terminal". Also, it has 4 runways. The number of passengers in 2014 was 72,826,862.


5. Los Angeles International Airport

LAX is the the airport located only 26 km from Downtown LA. It has 8 terminals and 4 runways. In 2014 there were 70,622,212 passengers and 666,942 aircraft movements.
